The installation punctures the exhibition space, a decommissioned bakery, through the intervention of a soil—or, waste—pipe that links the ground floor to the basement. At the end of the pipe hangs a solitary hand-carved wooden sausage. The work, titled Transmitter, employs formal operations of piercing and suspending, while simultaneously moving viewers down and through the space.
